What started out as a rumor is now confirmed as fact. Matthew Ashford joins the cast of THE BAY in Chapter 7 of the series. The five-time Soap Opera Digest Award winning actor will be playing Sara Garrett's (Mary Beth Evans) prisoned rapist, Steve Jensen, who also happens to be the father of her oldest child Brian Nelson.
Hmmm, Matthew Ashford playing Mary Beth Evans' rapist. What is it about this that sounds familiar?
A very good add to the show. He knows how to be both good and bad in his characters. Yep it is a little familiar.
